Sticky Sweet is the inspiration of Kelly Dow, who together with her brother and sister imagined and created this completely vegan and gluten free ice cream shop. After they worked together to cream a vegan ice cream that produced the creamy texture and flavor that you’d expect, they finally opened in 2019.

They know the idea of ice cream minus the cream can be a new concept and they are prepared to meet everyone’s doubts and blow them out of the water with how much like the “real thing” it tastes, as Kelly explained to WMTV in an interview.

We’re two sisters on a mission to bring you the best plant-based ice cream using the best ingredients.

They claim on their website that they don’t use dairy, eggs, gluten, cane sugar, white sugar, or refined sugar and that their ice cream has no cholesterol or anything artificial.

For sweeteners, they use coconut sugar, dates, and locally sourced maple!

They use mainly cashew and coconut as the base for their ice cream instead of animal dairy products. But please note that these products may not be safe if you have issues with tree nuts or coconut.

They make their own waffle cones to serve ice cream from their walk-up window. They may also have waffle bowls available! As with every business on our list, this one is completely gluten free including their freshly made waffle cones and waffle bowls. They are also completely dairy free, egg free, and vegan.
