Gluten Free Spring Burger

Simple, delicious, and perfect. This was our basic burger on the food cart.

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ⅓ lbs ground beef
  • 1 tbsp Magical Seasoning Mix
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 1 red onion sliced
  • 4 gluten free burger buns
  • 4 slices cheese
  • salad


  • Form four burger patties, about ⅓ lb each.
  • Heat a skillet and add olive oil. When it is hot, add the burgers.
  • Cook the bacon.
  • Cook to desired doneness and then add a slice of cheese to each burger and allow to melt.
  • Toast the buns in the pan after the burgers are done.
  • Assemble burgers with the patty, bacon, red onion, tomato, and salad mix.


My passion is supporting those who need to be gluten free. After my family had to transition to eating gluten free I realized how difficult it is. It is more than finding a recipe. It is about how to navigate social situations, deal with isolation, and other things that come along with it. I live in Oregon with my family, cats, and chickens.
