When you are trying to cut down on carbohydrates or can't find gluten free bread you enjoy, this BLT salad is perfect.

  • 2 slices bacon
  • salad or spring mix
  • 2 tbsp red onion chopped
  • ¼ cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • ¼ avocado sliced
  • ranch or other salad dressing as desired


  • Cook bacon in a frying pan and chop up.
  • Add salad mix to a plate or bowl. Top with the other ingredients.
  • Toss and serve.
