Every business has its own story. Businesses that are dedicated gluten free are particularly rich in passion and history. This section is dedicated to the people working hard every day to provide safe gluten free food to those that need it and honor them.

The owners of HaleLife are a mother and son team that shares a diagnosis of Celiac Disease. They make an effort to hire people who suffer from food allergies. So everyone you encounter at their business has personal experience with food allergies or restrictions.

They take special care to offer items that will meet as many dietary restrictions as possible. Not only do the owners have Celiac Disease, but they also have a spattering of additional allergies. This allows them to really get what people need.

They don’t just get certified gluten free products to use in their bakery, but research and make sure that all of their ingredients are as gluten free as possible. They talk to manufacturers about their processes and know more about their ingredients than most. They welcome questions as well.

I appreciate how involved they are with the ingredients they are using. And this seems like a fabulous place for anyone with multiple allergies. They take so much more care with what they are doing than simply a job – and it shows. As of this writing, they have expanded to a total of three locations and I hope they continue to thrive and expand!
