Gluten Free Creations Bakery – Additional Information

Every business has its own story. Businesses that are dedicated gluten free are particularly rich in passion and history. This section is dedicated to the people working hard every day to provide safe gluten free food to those that need it and honor them.

LynnRae and Vern wanted to help people with Celiac Disease when they opened Gluten Free Creations in 2001. They wanted to help people find gluten free food that tasted great.

On a personal note, as someone who remembers what it was like in 2001 for gluten free options, this is amazing! There was hardly anything available and was what available was usually pretty terrible. They opened their business before most people knew what gluten free was.

GFC is not a ‘static’ business. We strive to introduce delicious new items to keep up or lead the food trends for people living without or looking to support more locally made small batch products using the most natural ingredients affordable.

Gluten Free Creations

Gluten Free Creations add vitamin D to their bread and vitamin B to most of their products. Most “regular” flour and baked products have had vitamins and minerals added to them for decades. People who eat a gluten free diet tend to forget to take these vitamins and get deficient in them because they don’t eat the fortified food any longer. So I really love this addition to their offerings.

They also offer items with a variety of diet requirements. They encourage people to ask about dietary needs so they can create items that will fit or they can help you find products that work for you! However, their facility is only dedicated to gluten free so other allergens may be present. They even offer low carb and paleo options!

Every person who walks thru our doors is considered family. Our products are hand made with love and care. We wouldn’t want it any other way.

Fawn

My passion is supporting those who need to be gluten free. After my family had to transition to eating gluten free I realized how difficult it is. It is more than finding a recipe. It is about how to navigate social situations, deal with isolation, and other things that come along with it. I live in Oregon with my family, cats, and chickens.
